Different Field, Same Mission: DeBron & Cameron’s Football Journey

Here’s a few clips of my sons putting in work on the football field over the past two weeks. 🏈💪🏾
As some of y’all know, DeBron wasn’t too crazy about football before, but now he’s starting to like it more as he learns the game. Every practice I can see him getting better and better. He’s pretty good at catching the ball, and his speed is definitely improving.
I’ve been trying my best to capture both of my sons because DeBron and Cameron play in two different age groups, 14U and 13U. So I’m going back and forth between both fields trying to catch as much as I can from both of them. 😂
Cameron is looking really good too. He can play different positions and he just looks natural out there. This is only two weeks of practice, so I’m excited to see what both of them can do once the season really gets going.
With their new team, I’m hoping they both get more opportunities to continue learning and developing. I’m not expecting DeBron to play a whole lot right away because he’s still learning the game, but who knows? Keep working and anything can happen. Cameron has been showing a lot already, and I’m just enjoying watching both of them grow.
The biggest thing for me is that football is going to help make them better basketball players — stronger, faster, tougher, more confident and more athletic.
When basketball season comes around, I believe they’re going to be better than they were last year.
Different field. Same mission. Keep building. 🏈🏀💪🏾
