Def Familia Music
Hey everyone! Thanks for checking out DEFFAMILIA MUSIC! Just wanted to give you a little background on who we are and what we are about.
First off, my name is De'Angelo, aka Ironhead. I am deaf, so if you had a hard time understanding some of the words in my song from WWW.MYSPACE.COM/DEFFAMILIAMUSIC, now you know why. I refuse to let my deafness stop me from doing the things I am passionate about, one in which you can see is music. In the words of the great Muhammad Ali, "Impossible is nothing."
 Our mission is to inspire both the deaf and hearing communities to believe that they can do whatever they want to do as long as you never stop trying and stay focused. Hard work and desire will breed success. The other upcoming artist you heard was my cousin Carl, aka Manchild. Manchild is not deaf, but from growing up together, he has een the frustrations that many deaf people face in their daily lives. He has seen how many hearing people may not understand how to interact with deaf people or have the patience to deal with them. Together we have traveled to many deaf events and talked to many people, trying to spread our art and message to people all over.
As you all can see, we both have a passion for our music and we hope that you can feel and embrace the message we are trying to send.
FYI: Most of the CD that will be released will mostly feature music by Manchild. I recorded songs to both express my passion for music and to show that deaf people can do anything they want as long as they put their minds to it. Also coming will be video music for songs with sign language and closed captioning so both deaf and hearing can understand and enjoy the music. THANKS FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT!
